Our Grassroots Programmes continue to test innovative approaches to natural resource management whilst our Outreach Programmes communicate the results of this work to different audiences by different means. Training Advisory Units - core teams of experts drawn from programmes - will address this, offering training and technical advice, participating in networks, working to influence policy and disseminating lessons using the latest communication methods. We have also identified a number of processes and cross-cutting issues that impact profoundly on rural development and integrate them into our programmes where appropriate.
