28th February	Scottish Borders Group Flushing out a dormant village. Contact Ruth Johnson
19th March	Scottish Borders Group Concert at Mellerstain House, Berwickshire. Contact Martin Johnson. By kind permission of The Earl and Countess of Haddington. Everyone involved is giving their time. The Musicians and soloists are from the Meadows Chamber Orchestra and the Friends of FARM-Africa are doing the Buffet Supper.
22nd June	Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire Group Tractor Trailer Ride and Hog Roast. Tractor ride is around Dane End Farm showing all the environmental schemes there, together with the crops and diversification enterprises that are being embraced. The evening will commmence at 6.30pm and finish with a hog roast etc with the funds going to farm africa. Contact Bill Barr and Peter Wilkinson

£15 could help to train a farmer in Tanzania to harvest honey from forest bees. Giving them good quality honey to sell. £50 could provide a hunter gatherer community with training in land rights and how to manage the community’s natural resources. £100 pays for 28 families to be equipped with essential farming tools. £200 could help a farmers’ group in Ethiopia to buy oxen and a plough to cultivate their land. £300 could train and equip a farmer to provide crucial basic animal healthcare in their community to prevent animals dying unnecessarily. £1000 could help set up a tree nursery, providing jobs for the poorest people and protecting the forest for future generations.
