Affiliate Web sites | | FARM-Africa is linked with a number of innovative websites, three of which have been developed as part of our grassroots programmes. | | The Maendeleo Agricultural Technology Fund (MATF)www.maendeleo-atf.org
The Maendeleo Agricultural Technology Fund - set up by prestigious organisations The Gatsby Charitable Foundation and the Rockefeller Foundation, and managed by FARM-Africa - offers grants to small businesses, research institutes and voluntary organisations that use innovative ways to make agricultural technologies accessible to farmers. A website provides updates about current projects funded across East Africa, as well as the latest information on agricultural innovations and technologies, MATF publications and forthcoming calls for proposals. Read more about MATF in our programmes section | | Community Animal Health Network (CAHNET)www.cah-net.net The Community Animal Health Network (CAHNET) is a forum to share animal health-related information with livestock keepers, community-based animal health workers and others interested in this field, with the overall goal of improving animal health services. Using a range of information channels including a website, newsletter and workshops, we put grassroots animal health workers in touch with policy makers, scientists and other animal health workers, as well as with the latest research. The website acts as the main portal to the range of animal health information available for practitioners and includes an on-line resource centre, members’ profiles, animal health fact files, tips, tools and policy information.

Launched in 2003, the PFMP website was set up to share experiences in participatory forest management, not only between the project’s four forest sites in Ethiopia and Tanzania, but also to act as a focal point for a broader information network, linking PFM practitioners regionally and internationally.
