Leaving a legacy to FARM-Africa

No one likes to think about dying. For too many African families, death is an ever-present shadow that darkens their lives. But by remembering FARM-Africa in your will, you can brighten the lives of poor farmers and herders in Africa.

Your support can make a real difference. FARM-Africa is working with rural communities, giving them the support and investment they need to turn around their lives. Every penny we receive goes towards eradicating hunger and enabling African people to build positive futures. Your support can help us realise our vision of a prosperous rural Africa where people have the very basics - food, clean water, homes and healthcare.

By drawing up a will you choose exactly how you wish your assets to be used and make your wishes clear to your loved ones.

There are two ways in which you can include FARM-Africa in your will:

Residuary gift: You can leave us a percentage of your estate.
Pecuniary gift: You can leave a set amount, for example £5,000.

FARM-Africa welcomes all legacies. And you can rest assured that your kindness will live on - giving hope and a chance for a better future to so many people.

£15 could help to train a farmer in Tanzania to harvest honey from forest bees. Giving them good quality honey to sell. £30 pays for training and mentoring in water and soil conservation to improve crop yields. £200 could help a farmers’ group in Ethiopia to buy oxen and a plough to cultivate their land. £400 could train people on how to find and access water under the arid soil. £5000 could allow us to set up training and demonstration plots in Kenya, giving more people the opportunity to grow enough vegetables to feed their families and fodder to feed their livestock.
