Proof that farming Africa works
FARM-Africa works with poor African farmers, helping them to produce more food for their families. We want to make sure future generations don’t have to depend on handouts of aid.
FARM-Africa does exactly what our name says. We help the poorest people to farm Africa, so they can feed themselves.
But we don’t just give them the tools. We train them in the most effective techniques, so they get the most from their environment. We help them test new high-yielding seeds, to increase their harvests. We teach them basic veterinary care for their animals, so their livestock survive. We show them how to make fertiliser to enrich the soil – and how to set up simple irrigation systems. That’s just for starters.
